The Classics Departments of Barnard and Columbia are now accepting applications for the Garett Albert fund, which is dedicated to advancing the study of ancient Greek language and culture, especially the instruction and/or international travel that will further students' engagement with both.
Undergraduates, first and second-year graduate students, and post-bac students are all eligible.
Applications for these summer grants from the Garett Albert Fund should include the applicant's name, student rank at Barnard/Columbia, a brief description of the type of study for which the grant would be used, and how it would promote your study of Greek language and culture, as well as a simple budget. In the budget section, please indicate whether you would still be interested in accepting the fellowship if you do not receive the full amount that you requested.
The application deadline is March 21, 2016. Please direct questions to Helene Foley (firstname.lastname@example.org); students should send applications by email as MS Word attachments to the same address.
